Download Video (Computer)

You can download one video or multiple videos.

Only coaches or team admins can download video.

Download Video

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and click Video.

  2. Hover over the video or playlist you’d like to download and click Details.

  3. Find the video or playlist you’d like to download, click its action menu.

  4. Select Email Download Link.

  5. A down­load link for the video will be sent to your email.

  6. If you're downloading a playlist, choose whether you'd like it in a single file or multiple files, then click Download.

  7. You will receive the video link in an email. Open the email and click the download link. Your video will open in your Downloads folder.

    If the game has been tagged, the data will be included with the download email.

Download Multiple Videos

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and click Video.

  2. Hover over the videos or playlists you'd like to download and click the gray circle.

    To download multiple videos at once, hold com­mand + A (Mac), con­trol + A (PC) on your key­board or check the cir­cle in the top left of the video thumb­nail, then click Download in the blue bar at the top of your screen.

  3. A blue bar will appear at the top of your screen, click Download.

  4. A download link for the videos will be sent to your email.

  5. Open the email and click the download link. Your video will open in your Downloads folder.

    If the game has been tagged, the data will be included with the download email.

FAQs

I am following the tutorial online, but I don’t see the option to download video. Help!

If you don’t see the option to download the video, this means that you are not a coach on the account. Only coaches and team admins have the ability to download film.

I am an athlete and I want to download film. How do I do that?

Since coaches are the only ones who can download film, we recommend reaching out to your head coach to see if they are willing to download the film for you.

I requested a download, but I still haven’t received an email.

Be sure to check your junk and spam folders. If you still don’t see it, try requesting the download again. Sometimes it can take longer than others to process. If it is taking an unusually long time, please reach out to our Support team for further help.

I need to share a video with an individual that's not on Hudl.

Once you receive your download link via email you'll be able to forward this email to anyone of your choosing for them to view the raw video file.

Download Video (iOS)

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Video.

  2. Tap the action menu next to any video or playlist.

  3. Tap Make Available Offline.
