Add Comments and Drawings

on a computer on an iOS device

Add Comments and Drawings (Computer)

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and click Video.

  2. Select the video you'd like to watch.

  3. Once the video plays, you can add comments and drawings.

Add Comments

  1. Click Add a comment.

  2. Type your comment.

  3. Drag the handles to adjust the start and end of the clip with your comment.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Now create a new playlist with that clip or add it to an existing playlist.

Add Drawings

  1. Click the draw icon.

  2. Select the drawing you'd like to create from a spot shadow, arrow, or freehand.

  3. Click and drag the drawing to size, then place it.

    Click the center of the drawing to adjust its placement.

  4. Drag the handles to adjust the start and end of the clip with your drawing.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Now create a new playlist with that clip or add it to an existing playlist.

Create a New Playlist

  1. Click the playlist icon.

  2. Click the field under New Playlist to rename the playlist. Share the Playlist and click Save.

Add to an Existing Playlist

  1. Click the playlist icon.

  2. Choose from the list of existing playlists.

    Search by name to easily find a playlist.

  3. Click Add clips to save them to the playlist.

Add Comments and Drawings (iOS)

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Video.

  2. Tap the thumbnail of the video you'd like to watch.

  3. Once the video plays, you can add comments and drawings.

Add Comments

  1. Tap Add a comment.

  2. Type your note, then tap Post.

  3. The clips with notes will appear under Your Clips.

  4. You can choose to edit the length of the clip by tapping on the Scissor icon.

  5. Now create a new playlist with the clip or add it to an existing playlist.

Add Drawings

  1. Click the draw icon.

  2. Select the drawing you'd like to create from a spot shadow, arrow, or freehand.

  3. Tap and drag the drawing to size, then place it.

  4. Tap Post.

  5. Now create a new playlist with the clip or add it to an existing playlist.

Create a New Playlist

  1. Tap Select.

  2. Tap the playlist icon.

  3. Tap New playlist.

  4. Name your playlist and tap Next.

  5. Select who you would like to share the new playlist with. Tap Save.

Add to an Existing Playlist

  1. Tap Select.

  2. Tap the playlist icon.

  3. Choose the existing playlist you'd like to add the clips to. Tap Next.

  4. Select who you would like to share the playlist with. Tap Save.
