Upload Video from a Computer (Windows)

Only Coaches and Team Admins can upload video to Hudl.

  1. Plug your camera or SD card into your computer, then copy the video files from your game to your desktop.

    Follow these steps to see how to copy files to your desktop.

  2. Log in to Hudl.com and click Upload.

    Add your schedule before you upload.

  3. Use the drop-down to select the correct team for the upload.

  4. If you want to include audio, check the Include Audio from Video box.

  5. Click Select Files or drag and drop the video file(s) into the upload window.

  6. Select the files needed for upload. To select multiple video files, click the first file listed, then press and hold Shift on your keyboard and click the last file you want uploaded.

    If you're uploading .xchange files, make sure you select both your MP4 and .xchange file.

  7. Click Open.

  8. Check that all video files that need to be uploaded are listed in the correct order to be uploaded. If the files are out of order manually drag the files into the correct order, or click the drop-down next to Order by and choose the correct way to order the files.

  9. Check that all video files that need to be uploaded are listed or choose add video to this event, then click Upload.

  10. Select whether the video is Game, Practice or Scout footage.

  11. Choose the event the video belongs to.

  12. Give your playlist a name.

  13. Click Edit to select who can access the video.

  14. Use the drop-down to select who you’d like to share the video with.

  15. Select the groups or individual(s) who should have access.

    Narrow your search by typing the name of a group or member in the search box.

  16. When you have the groups or individual(s) selected, click Add Members.

  17. Click Save.

  18. Once you’re finished editing your video details, click Save. Your video will continue to upload and be ready to watch soon.

    Want to keep working in your account? No problem. Open a new tab and log into Hudl as you normally would. Be sure you keep the tab that's uploading video open.

Upload Video from a Computer (Mac)

  1. Plug your camera or SD card into your computer, then copy the video files from your game to your desktop.

    Add your schedule before you upload.

  3. Use the drop-down to select the correct team for the upload.

  4. If you want to include audio, check the Include Audio from Video box.

  5. Click Select Files or drag and drop the video file(s) into the upload window.

  6. Select the files needed for upload. To select multiple video files, click the first file listed, then press and hold Shift on your keyboard and click the last file you want uploaded.

  7. Click Open.
