Use a Hudl Bluetooth Remote with Mobile Device

Use a Hudl Bluetooth Remote with Mobile Device (iOS)

Tips for Pairing the Remote

  • The four digit code on the back of the remote is the remote’s unique Hudl ID.
  • When you see a blinking red light after a button is pressed, the remote is ready to be paired.
  • If there is not a blinking red light on the remote, the remote is already paired with another device. Find this device and disconnect before connecting to a new device.
  • A yellow light blinking in the top right corner of the remote indicates a low battery. The faster the yellow light blinks, the lower the battery.
  • Your iOS device will list the Hudl Bluetooth Remote as a "Bluetooth Keyboard".
  • If your remote will not pair with your device or will not control playback, try manually unpairing from all devices by holding TAG and FULL for 10 seconds, then pairing with your device again.
  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Tap Bluetooth.

  3. Turn on Bluetooth. The green tab indicates Bluetooth is activated.

  4. Tap Hudl- followed by your remote’s Hudl ID.

After initial pairing, swipe up on your iOS device, and tap the Bluetooth icon on/off and connect to the remote.
