Click the settings icon (three dots).

Hover your mouse over Help and click About Google Chrome.

If Chrome is out-of-date, it will begin updating automatically. Click Relaunch when the update is complete.
Safari

Ensure you have the most recent version of Safari by updating to the most recent Mac OS X version in the App Store.
