Stripe Payment Setup

Your organization must set up your Stripe account for payouts before you will gain access to Hudl Tickets. Stripe ensures a secure payout process and is a trusted partner of Hudl and many other organizations.

To set up Stripe, information about the school and the school's bank account will be required. Please ensure the person setting up the Stripe account has access to this information, such as the Athletic Director, Billing Coordinator or Business Manager.

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and use the drop-down to select the school.

  2. Click the Ticketing tab.

  3. Click Add Payout Information.

    You must first agree to the Terms and Conditions in this step to begin Stripe set up.

  4. Enter your email address and phone number. Click Continue.

  5. Enter the 6-digit code Stripe sent to the phone number you entered in the previous step.

  6. If the account is for a school, select Nonprofit organization.

    If this needs to be changed in the future you will need to contact Stripe.

  7. Verify you represent the organization.

    Stripe may ask you to verify your identity with your SSN and an official ID document, such as a driver's license.

  8. Complete the organization details. For high schools, select Elementary or secondary schools underneath the Industry drop-down.

    If you do not have access to this information, contact your business office.

  9. Select if you'd like to connect your Stripe account to a bank account or a debit card.

  10. Review the details you've entered and make any necessary edits. If Stripe needs more information it will ask you to input those details.

  11. For additional security, Stripe may ask for more information, like your full SSN and a photo ID.

  12. Once Stripe setup is complete, you'll automatically return to Hudl.

    Stripe will need to approve the account and that can take 2-3 days to complete. Until Stripe approves the account, you will not be able to do anything else with Hudl Tickets.

    You will receive an email about your account status so you know when your account has been approved and is ready for use.

  13. To access Stripe after your account has been verified, click Manage and then Payouts & Analytics in the drop-down.

Am I able to save my progress in Stripe while onboarding?

Yes! Stripe will automatically save your progress as you go, so if you need to stop, you can pick up right where you left off.

How long does Stripe Verification usually take?

Stripe Verification usually takes 2-3 days to complete.

What if my Stripe account isn't set up correctly?

Stripe will contact you to get your account set up correctly. You can also check your Stripe account status in Hudl.
