Prepare for Video Pull (Windows)

These steps are meant to prepare you for a remote session. Only use them when Hudl Support has instructed you to do so.

If you're unable to download the programs listed below, it's likely you'll need to talk to your IT staff to get administrative rights for your computer. You will also need administrative rights when you contact support.

A remote session is not supported by Google Chromebooks

  1. Click here to download iTunes. Once on the page, click Download.

  2. Open the download once it has completed.

  3. If you're on a Mac computer, select Install iTunes and complete the installation process. If you're on a Windows computer, follow the prompts to finish installing.

  4. Connect the iPad or iPhone you recorded on to your computer. The charging cord usually works for this.

  5. Open iTunes.

  6. Tap Trust on your iPad or iPhone to allow it to connect to the computer.

  7. Select the device icon.

  8. Select This computer under Automatically Back Up.

  9. Click Back Up Now.

  10. If prompted, enter the password used to protect your device backup and click Set Password. Keep track of this password.

  4. Grab the iPad or iPhone you recorded on, and use a cord connect it to your computer. The charging cord usually works for this.

  5. Open iTunes.

  6. Tap Trust on your iPad or iPhone to allow it to connect to the computer.

  7. Select the device icon.

  8. Select This computer under Automatically Back Up.

  9. Click Back Up Now.

  10. If prompted, enter the password to protect your device backup and click Set Password. Keep track of this password.

  11. Once you've completed all steps above, call Hudl Support. To find the number, log in to your Hudl account on the computer, then hover over your name and click Get Help.
