Placement Requirements
We don't want your camera to miss a moment of the action, so make sure it's installed in the correct location. Need help determining where to install your camera? Check out our placement guide or use the chart below.
Your Camera Needs | Because |
A fixed location at the 50-yard line, or the midfield line—no more than five feet to the left or right of the center line. | A center location is the only way to capture the entire field of play. |
Access to a single grounded AC mains power outlet at the camera location. | Focus can run on voltages between 100-240v. Dependent on your region, mains voltage will vary. If the provided power cord isn’t long enough to reach an outlet, feel free to use an extension cord. |
To have the scoreboard in view, if possible. | If the camera can see the scoreboard, we can use it to provide game context on your livestream. During installation, the scoreboard needs to be turned on with all digits illuminated. |
Your camera’s required height depends on how far it’ll be from the sideline. Once you measure the distance from the field’s sideline to the mounting location, use the chart below to determine how high it needs to be.
Your height measurement should be taken from the ground, level with the field.
