Import Data Live from iCoda into a Hudl Sportscode Package

Before beginning, activate iCoda on your iOS device.

  1. Set Up a Personal Network. Connect your iPad to the personal network.

  2. Open Coda.

  3. In the top menu bar, click CODA and select Command Centre...

  4. Click Server.

  5. Toggle the status switch to ON.

  6. On the iPad, open iCoda and select the form you'd like to use for coding.

  7. Tap Online Coding.

  8. Choose the server you turned on in the Command Centre on your computer.

  9. Tap New Session.

  10. Name your session, then tap Done.

  11. Tap Start.

  12. On your computer, you'll see the active coding session pop up in the Command Centre.

  13. Launch Hudl Sportscode, then open File > Import > Live Sportscode XML...

  14. Select your username, then navigate to Public > CODA Sessions. Select the folder that matches the name of your coding session, then click Open.

  15. Start a capture in Hudl Sportscode if not already running.

  16. Begin coding on the iCoda form. You'll see your codes populate in Hudl Sportscode as the capture continues.
