Customize your XML Download

In order to download an XML file, the match must have already been tagged.

  1. Click on the desired match.

    Not sure how to find a match? Follow steps 1-4 of this tutorial.

  2. Select Sportscode XML (New Version).

  3. Choose a Player-based or Team-based format.

  4. Customize the output appearance, then click Next.

    If you have an XML Pro Pack, you will have the options to customize player labels, clip length, and whether or not short possessions are shown. Click Next and you will also have the option to choose additional labels for a deeper analysis.

  5. Select the video source and game periods. If you choose Broadcast video from Wyscout, click Finish. If you choose My custom video source, click Next.

  6. If you selected to use your own video, you can set video offsets for the XML file. Enter the kickoff time stamps, then click Finish.

  7. Click Download.

  8. Once the file downloads, import the XML into Hudl Sportscode.
