Create Playlists

on a computer on an iOS device

Create Playlists (Computer)

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and click Video.

  2. Click the video thumbnail to begin watching.

  3. Click Create Clip to generate a clip.

  4. Click Share in Playlist.

    Select all clips or choose individual ones to send to different playlists.

  5. Select the drop down arrow to create a new playlist. To choose an existing playlist, first click the 'x' next to the drop down arrow. Then, click the dropdown arrow to select the playlist.

    Search by name to easily find existing playlists.

  6. Click the down arrow next to a group or individual to update their access.

  7. Click Save Shared Playlist to save.

    The playlist now exists as a separate video in your library.

If you do not see the Save Shared Playlist button, follow these instructions to zoom your web browser out.

Create Playlists (iOS)

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Menu.

  2. Tap Video.

  3. Tap the video thumbnail to begin watching.

  4. Tap + to generate a clip. Tap Your Clips to see your list of created clips.

    Clips won't save to the original video. You'll either add that clip to a playlist or tag it as a highlight.

  5. Tap Select to select your clips.

  6. Tap the playlist icon.

  7. Choose from the list of existing playlists or tap New Playlist and give it a name.

    Search by name to easily find existing playlists.

  8. Tap Add clips to save.

    The playlist now exists as a separate video in your library.
