Create a Deactivation Link

A deactivation link is used to automatically deactivate a button after activating another linked button. Deactivation links can be created between any combination of code, label, and toggle buttons.

  1. Enter Edit mode in the code window.

  2. Select the button to add a deactivation link to and click Inspector.

    Double-clicking a button will also open the Inspector.

  3. In the Behaviour tab, click the Deactivation link drop-down and select the button that you'd like this button to deactivate.

    Keyboard Shortcut: hold Shift + Control and click and drag between two buttons to create a deactivation link.

  4. After linking the two buttons with a deactivation link, you'll see a red line with an arrow between the two buttons.

Deactivation links must be created from the button that you’ll activate, and point to the button that you’d like it to automatically deactivate.
