Add or Edit Video Details (Computer)

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and click Video.

  2. Hover over the video you’d like to update and click Details.

  3. If your library is in list view, click the action menu on the video you'd like to update and select Edit.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Edit the video title in the box provided.

  6. To edit or remove the associated event, click the box under Scheduled Event.

  7. Customize how you organize your video with labels. To add one, start typing in the Labels field. Existing labels will populate, or you can create a new one.

  8. Choose the type of video: Game, Practice or Scout.

  9. Click Save Changes.

  10. After your details have been added, new filter options will appear in your library.

FAQs

My stats for one of my videos isn’t showing up in my reports for this season. Where are they?

Take a look at what scheduled event your video was saved under. It sounds like it may have accidentally been saved to a previous season. If it was, you can edit the event to correct it to be filed under your current season. Then, your stats will show up in the correct season reports!

My video says Untitled Video. How do I edit that?

Hover over the video and click edit to rename your video.

My video is listed as scout but it should be listed as a game video. How do I fix that?

Hover over the video and click edit, you’ll then be able to change the video type to indicate that it is a game, practice or scout film.

Can there be more than one video listed as a Game for each scheduled event?

No. There can only be one video listed as Game Footage per scheduled event.

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Video.

  2. Tap the action menu on the video you'd like to edit.

  3. Tap Edit Details.

  4. Edit the title in the box provided.

  5. Choose the type of video: Game, Practice or Scout.

  6. To edit or remove the associated event, tap the > icon.

  7. Tap Save.

This functionality is not available for Android.
