on a computer on an iOS device

Add Effects (Computer)

Text and drawing effects are available to add on full game videos, allowing you to keep everything in one place and share them with your whole team.

  1. Log in to Hudl.com and click Video.

  2. Select the video you'd like to watch.

  3. Click the effects icon. A small action menu will pop up on the left side of the video player.

  4. You can now:

    • Add text
    • Draw an arrow
    • Draw a circle
    • Draw freehand

  5. To move text, select the computer mouse icon. Then, click and drag the text to place it on the video.

  6. To delete text, hover over the text box and click the trash icon.

  7. To move a drawing, select the computer mouse icon. Then, click and drag the drawing to place it on the video.

  8. To delete a drawing, select the computer mouse icon, click the drawing and hit delete on your keyboard.

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap the menu icon.

  2. Tap Video.

  3. Select the video you’d like to watch.

  4. Tap the effects icon.

  5. You can now:

    • Add text
    • Draw an arrow
    • Draw a circle
    • Draw freehand

  6. Drag the drawing to place it on the video.

  7. Tap Post when you're done.
