Activate iCoda on Your iOS Device

IMPORTANT: iCoda is free to download from the App Store on any iOS device, but iCoda timelines cannot be exported until the device is activated in the Command Centre, available with a registered version of the Coda desktop application.

  1. Connect your iOS device and computer to the same Wi-Fi network.

    The Wi-Fi must be from a single-router network. Most large scale Wi-Fi networks, such as university or "whole-building," won't work. Instead, we recommended using a mobile hotspot or personal/home Wi-Fi.

  2. Launch Coda on your computer and iCoda on your iOS device.

  3. Open Coda and click Command Centre.

  4. Select your device.

    If iCoda is open on your iOS device, the device name should appear under the Devices tab. If your iOS device doesn't appear, your network may not support iCoda activation. Try to Remotely Activate iCoda on Your iOS Device instead.

  5. Click Activate.

  6. Check that your iOS device is now In Use under Activations.
