Accept Exchanges

Accept Exchanges (Computer)

Only team administrators can access exchanges.

  1. Log in to Hudl.com, hover over Exchanges and click Direct.

  2. Select the exchange you'd like under Active Exchanges.

  3. Follow the instructions for the type of exchange you’re accepting:

  4. One-Way Exchange
    • Add to Video Library: Add the video to your team's library.
    • Delete: Delete the exchange from your team.
  5. Two-Way Exchange
    • Respond: In a two-way exchange, you must send video back to the user before you can add their video to your library. After you click Respond, choose the video(s) you want to send back. Once the other team has accepted your video(s), you'll have the option to Add to Video Library.
    • Decline: Let the team who started the exchange know you aren't accepting it.
    • Delete: Delete the exchange from your team.
  6. Exchange Request
    • Send Video: Send video directly back to the team that requested it.
    • Decline: Let the team requesting video know you aren’t accepting their request.
    • Delete: Delete the exchange request from your team.
  7. After you click Add to Video Library, select a scheduled event you’d like the video saved under, or click Add Without Scheduled Event.

  8. Select the category as Game Footage, Practice or Opponent Scout.

  9. Click Add to Video Library.

    To watch the video, click View Video or Video from the navigation bar.

Accept Exchanges (iOS)

Only team administrators can access exchanges.

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Direct Exchanges.

  2. Select the exchange you'd like under Active Exchanges.

  3. Follow the instructions for the type of exchange you’re accepting:

  4. One-Way Exchange
    • Add to Video Library: Add the video to your team’s library.
    • Delete: Delete the exchange from your team.
  5. Two-Way Exchange
    • Respond: In a two-way exchange, you must send video back to the user before you can add their video to your library. After you click Respond, choose the video(s) you want to send back. Once the other team has accepted your video, you'll have the option to Add to Video Library.
    • Decline: Let the team who started the exchange know you aren't accepting it.
    • Delete: Delete the exchange from your team.
  6. Exchange Request
    • Send Video: Send video directly back to the team that requested it.
    • Decline: Let the team requesting video know you aren’t accepting their request.
    • Delete: Delete the exchange request from your team.
  7. After you tap Add to Video Library, select a scheduled event you’d like the video saved under, or tap Add Without Scheduled Event.

  8. Select the category as Game Footage, Practice, or Opponent Scout.

  9. Tap Add to Video Library.

    You can now watch the video by tapping Video.

Accept Exchanges (Android)

Only team administrators can access exchanges.

  1. Log in to the Hudl app and tap Menu.

  2. Tap Direct Exchanges.

  3. Select the exchange you'd like under Active Exchanges.

  4. Follow the instructions for the type of exchange you’re accepting:

    • Add to Video Library: Add the video to your team’s library.
    • Delete: Delete the exchange from your team.
